Happy new year, and welcome to 2022. The time of year again where gyms, gym wear companies and, come on let us just bite the bullet here, really anything relating to diet culture, can look forward to making money off people. This includes those who long to start fresh this year, embarking on a journey of health and wellness.Continue reading “The Toxic Side to the Body Positivity Movement that no one wants to Discuss”
No, I do not have too much faith in New Year’s resolutions either, because often we think we are going to keep them, then we find it becomes too much, or even circumstances change making it practically impossible (2020 anyone). Therefore, at least from my experience, it is better to make resolutions which are not quite as specific, so that they can evolveContinue reading “What 2021 Has Taught me, and my New Years Resolutions”
It makes sense doesn’t it. For there to be something for children to wear, when they are incapable of choosing something that looks half decent and appropriate themselves. Girlboss feminism. Sounds so empowering doesn’t it? Yet becoming a “girlboss” requires so much privilege, and even if someone does end up becoming one, how can we know if it can achieve any sort of real sense of happiness.

But A) what’s the definition for Bimbo or Bimbofication, and B) What is the point of this whole, political, new aged Bimbo movement on TikTok and elsewhere?
Lets face it, last year was hell. Therefore how many of us at one point didn’t want to run away to a place far away. Where we could live a far more simplified life???
Many for one reason or another seem to have views strongly against any kind of plastic surgery, especially boob jobs. However when are such high, toxic beauty standards in society, then should we really exercise the judgement that we do. Though we do need to prioritize self love too
We all know that Sexism refers to prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination on the basis of sexes traditionally against women. While Misogyny refers to the hatred of women, stereo-typically exhibited by men in cases of unequal power balances in relationships, simply dissing women and in extreme cases sexual assault. But what on earth can “internalized misogyny”Continue reading “Internalized Sexism/Misogyny”
